13/01/2016Fantastic flashlight. Very good construction, feels solid and durable. Well thought user interface. Powerful little thrower, although usable in EDC conditions. I like the LED tint (on the warm side). Very nice, good quality, accessories (belt pouch and white diffuser). Reasonable price tag. All in all, 5 stars. Suggestion and hope: electronic locking feature. PS. French speaking customer, here. Sorry for the broken English...
Description
The M23 Javelot has a maximum output of 1020 lumens from the Cree XP-L. The torch can be powered by 2 x CR123A single use batteries (included) which must be put into the provided battery magazine and then into the torch or 1 x 18650 battery which does not require the magazine.
The torch has a stainless steel bezel and a tail cap with a conductive structure, making it more stable, durable and impact resistant. The tail cap hosts the easy use switch for operating the power, brightness levels and strobe mode.
Brightness Levels: (using 2 x CR123A)
High: 1020 lumens - 5 mins runtime (After this runtime the brightness decreases to 600 lumens to avoid overheating - the runtime of this output is 55 mins)
Med: 350 lumens - 2 hrs runtime
Low: 20 lumens - 30 hrs runtime
Plus Strobe (10 Hz / 1020 lumens)
Maximum beam distance 436 meters, waterproof to IPX8 (2 meter submersible) and resistant to impacts up to 1.5 meters.
Includes: 2 x single use CR123A batteries, battery magazine, holster, spare O-rings, lanyard and diffuser
