The Nitecore LA30 Lantern is the perfect choice for camping and emergency situations thanks to its 'bi fuel' capabilities.

Featuring a built-in high capacity (1800mAh) rechargeable Li-ion battery that can be charged via the micro USB port. The light can also be operated while charging is in progress.

The LA30 can also be powered by two AA batteries, which are the most readily available batteries anywhere on earth and so ideal for emergency situations where charging may not be possible. When in standby mode the lantern uses zero power to ensure it is working when you need it most and a built in power indicator displays the remaining power level.

The LA30 houses eight high colour rendering LEDs with a maximum output of 250 lumens and a lighting area of 35 meters. The lights colour profile resembles natural daylight, which reduces eye strain and displays more natural colours of the objects it illuminates.

In addition to the white light the LA30 has a 40 lumen red output. Red light helps preserve night adapted vision and is useful for activities such as wildlife observation, astronomy and night photography.

Weighing in at only 4.6 ounces, the LA30 is easy to carry in a small bag or backpack. There are two attachment methods via a metal hanging loop and magnetic base, or of course it can be used free standing.

A high efficient constant circuit provides constant illumination with no flicker (non-PWM) and constructed from durable polycarbonate material.
