The Fenix HL16 headlamp has been specifically designed for a child's use, providing a simple operating system, high visibility and a lockout from the internal components to ensure their safety. The head torch has a maximum output of 70 lumens from the Cree XP-E2 R3 LED and is powered by 1 x AA battery (alkline or NiMH).

In addition to a neutral LED for excellent colour rendition, the HL16 features red LEDs which provide a constant red and flashing red light. The white LED provides three levels, ranging from 4 to 70 lumens. The headlamp is operated by a one switch control which can be found on the top of the head unit.

For peace of mind, the HL16 conforms to CPSIA and REACH certification, ensuring your child's safety when they use the headtorch. The light has a secure lock in the battery cover which is designed to only be opened by adults using the included Allen key.

Lightweight and compact, the Fenix HL16 has a frosted design for a soft, even beam and has a 60 degree tilt mechanism for angled lighting.
