The Nitecore P22R is the latest in the range to include Nitecore's 2nd generation 'Strobe Ready' technology for quick and easy access to strobe mode from any state with single handed operation.  This makes it ideal for high stress situations when there  isn't time to scroll though modes. The second generation  dual tail switches feature a slightly recessed design to help prevent accidental operation.

Utilising a Cree XHP35 HD LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and a maximum output of 1800 lumens. The maximum range is 262 meters with a wide beam pattern.

The P22R can charge the included NL1835HP 3500mAh 8A battery inside the torch itself via a USB-C port at the tail end of the light. The charging port features a rotatable water and dust proof cover, which is an improvement on rubber charging port covers. The P22R is also compatible with CR123A cells when used with the supplied battery magazine. Also included is the NTH20 tactical holster, which allows the torch to attach to a variety of belts or webbing systems.

Three user selectable modes make the P22R suitable for a variety of applications:

Daily Mode: Low, Mid, High, Turbo & Strobe
Law Enforcement Mode: Strobe, Turbo & Mid
Tactical Mode: Strobe & Turbo

• Turbo: 1800 lumens - 30 minutes runtime - 262 meter range
• High: 380 lumens - 3 hours 30 minutes runtime - 127 meter range
• Mid: 75 lumens - 18 hours runtime - 55 meter range
• Low: 1 lumen - 250 hours runtime - 5 meter range
• Strobe Setting - 1800 lumens (randomly changing)

At the head of the P22R is an ultra strong strike bezel with glass breaker. The tail end incorporates a blue power indicator light that displays the remaining battery voltage via a series of flashes. Other notable features include a highly efficient constant current circuit (non-PWM), advanced temperature regulation to prevent the flashlight from overheating and damaging the LED.
