The Nitecore NU17 is the ideal running headlamp, stripping the design back to provide a lightweight, rechargeable headtorch with multiple settings and modes. The light has a maximum output of 130 lumens from the primary CREE XP-G2 S3 LED plus an auxiliary high CRI white LED and an auxiliary red light.

The headtorch has a built-in, Li-ion battery which is rechargeable via a micro USB port on the top of the light and comes with a USB charging cable. The 580mAh battery is the equivalent to 3 x AAA cells and provides excellent runtimes up to 150 hours, so you can focus all your attention on running, training or exploring. To ensure you know when it's time to recharge, the headlamp has a built-in power indicator which will flash three times to show the power is above 50%, twice when below 50% and three times if it's below 10%.

The NU17 features a primary white light with three settings ranging from 1 to 130 lumens, plus two auxiliary lights. The high CRI white light is suitable for short range illumination and provides excellent colour rendition, making it perfect for reading, camping and painting. The red light effectively protects night vision and is ideal for wildlife observation, astronomy, signaling and night photography. To operate and access the various modes, the headtorch has a simple user interface made up of a dual switch design.

The Nitecore headlamp has a 60º tiltable head to ensure there are no blind spots and a comfortable headband that channels sweat away from the eyes towards the side of the head.
