The Nitecore HC35 is the first of a new generation of 21700 Li-ion rechareable head torches, with an outstanding brightness of 2700 lumens. Equiped with four Cree XP-G3 LEDs the HC35 creates a wall of light with a range of up to 134 meters. This head torch has a 100 degree beam profile with a smooth and well distributed light pattern making it easier on the eye than head torches with tight hotspots.

Powered by a single 21700 Li-ion rechargeable battery (included), the HC35 can also be powered by a single 18650 or two CR123 when used with the provided battery magazine. 21700 Li-ion batteries were first introduced in the electric car industry, and are considered by many to be the future of cylindrical batteries thanks to the high performance they provide. The battery can be charged inside the HC35 via a Micro-USB port on the head of the torch, which has a protective cover. A blue light power indicator inside the button displays the current battery voltage.

Operated via a single one button interface with five brightness levels and three flashing modes:

• Turbo: 2700 lumens - 45 minutes runtime (not allowing for temperature regulation) - 134 meter range
• High: 800 lumens - 3 hours runtime - 73 meter range
• Medium: 270 lumens - 8 hrs 15 minutes runtime - 40 meter range
• Low: 40 lumens - 52 hours runtime - 14 meter range
• Ultralow: 1 lumen - 1200 hrs runtime - 3 meter range
• Strobe / Beacon / SOS

The HC65 includes a newly designed quick release bracket and pocket clip allowing for a variety of carry options, the tail cap is also magnetic for hands free use. The CNC machined uni-body is lightweight and provides excellent heat dissipation with extra cooling fins on the head of the light.

Other notable features include a breathable headband with sweat diverting strip, efficient constant circuit (non-PWM) for a comfortable viewing experience and reverse polarity protection. Advaned temperature regulation (ATR) actively regulates the output of the HC65 to provide optimal performance while avoiding overheating.

IP68 rated (waterproof to 2 meters submersible) and impact resistant to drops from up to 1 meter.
