13/05/2021I am a fan of Kershaw knives in general. I saw this knife on a YouTube clip and liked the tango blade. I also liked that it is spring assisted. Flashaholics was the first company to pop up on Google!

03/03/2021First of all the customer service was brilliant, was emailed to varify my age which is fair enough then not 30 minutes after emailing back my item was dispatched. The next day i email to ask if there was any tracking and shortly after i emailed the parcel arrived! Super prompt delivery! As for the knife it is a fantastic peice of cutlery! Especially for the price it's the cheapest i have found this particular knife in the UK. Razor sharp out of box and the speed safe assisted opening is fast and smooth, very little resistance when closing the knife. Locks up good and tight zero blade play. I haven't quite put it to the test yet and cannot comment on edge retention or ease of sharpening but as it's 8cr13mov steel I'm sure i already know this is a budget steel but holds an edge fairly well and is easy to sharpen. Overall very impressed

08/11/2019I have a number of Kershaw knives that I carry for different purposes ranging from work, to a daily carry. This is one of the larger knives I have front the Kershaw range and yet again it does not disappoint. Very well made, sturdy construction and same reliable opening system. I need a single handed operation for work and have found the Kershaw system very easy and reliable setting all my knives up for a right hand, tip up pocket deployment. Will gladly have another Kershaw knife and happily use Flashaholics again.

The Kershaw FreeFall knife (3840) features a tactically styled blade and a palm-gripping, ergonomic handle. The overall length of the knife measures 7.5" and it weighs 4.1 oz.
The blade is a modified tanto with a hollow grind and slightly curved belly for versatile cutting. It measures 3.25" in length and is made from strong 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with an easy-care stonewashed finish, providing high performance at an affordable price.
The black, glass filled nylon handle is contoured to fit the palm and is partially embossed with Kershaw’s K-Texture grip for an extra secure hold. Heavy jimping on the blade back and on the lower part of the backspacer add to the grip power of this handsome knife. The backspacer has a built-in lanyard hole that's wide enough to accommodate thicker lanyards.
The FreeFall has a reversible and adjustable deep-carry clip, which can be adjusted to left or right handed carry by the screw on the knife butt. The knife features a liner lock to ensure the blade is secure when open and has Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted opening for quick access to the blade. Combined with tactical styling and a comfortable hand-fit, the FreeFall is an easy choice for tough piercing tasks as well as for everyday carry.
