I use the Torch for walking the dogs at night, great kit my only real issue so far (only had it a week) is that the button you press to change lumens mode could be easier to find. Maybe it could be raised or sunken more? Overall though I would recommend one, hell of a range on it, you can see quarry from a real distance. Thanks for the fast delivery as well.

Superb. This is a fabulous torch if you are looking for a powerful long distance beam. I have used Fenix products for many years and found them to be very robust and reliable so expect a long life of good service from this. To achieve the throw there is less flood so its not useful close in and the power button is not raised or lit so can be hard to locate quickly. Battery concept is excellent, with more power and life than 18560. I say again, fabulous long distance light in compact form

Description

The Fenix HT18 flashlight features an impressive maximum output of 1500 lumens from the updated SFT40 LED and is powered using either the included 21700 battery or a 18650 cell with the Fenix ALF-18 battery magazine. The flashlight comes with 1 x Fenix ARB-L21-5000U, a li-ion 21700 battery with a built-in type-C USB charging port for direct charging into the battery and a compatible charging cable.

Designed as a long range hunting or searchlight, the HT18 features a powerful beam distance up to 925 meters (1011 yards). In addition, the torch comes with a red and green filter for night searching applications.

The Fenix flashlight is operated using a tactical tail switch to turn the light on and off and a side switch to cycle through the modes. The side switch has a built-in battery level indicator which will light up for 3 seconds when the torch is switched on. If it shows green the battery is between 85 and 100%, flashing green means between 50 and 85%, red is between 25 and 50% and flashing red is critically low between 1 and 25%.
