14/11/2020Very capable flashlight, with the versatility of AA batteries. I have the first version of D25C that uses 16340 Li-Ion batteries and bought this as a present, since EagTac are solid built and offer the best function set. As expected, the D25A is less bright with a Ni-MH AA cell. Nevertheless, I really use the brightest setting of mine, plus the second version has higher output in general, so it's perfectly usable. Runtime is not an issue if you carry a couple of AA batteries around, still easier than carrying 16430s.

Description
The Eagletac D25A Clicky MK II is an update on the original and very popular D25A Clicky. The Mark II has a maximum output of 286 from the Cree XM-L2 Cool White LED with other LEDs available offering a lower output but a neutral or warm tint. The torch can be powered by 1 x alkaline or NiMH AA or 1 x 14500 Li-ion battery.
Lightweight and compact, the D25A MK II is a useful everyday torch and can be kept close by in a pocket, bag, drawer or glove box. The light measures 3.4" (8.6cm) in length and comes with a rigid nylon holster to keep it safe and protected when not in use.
The flashlight features four brightness levels which are operated by the clicky tail switch and tightening or loosening the head.
